2008 Event Schedule May 16-18  Resaca Resaca, GA   Resaca is located off of interstate I-75 approximately 40 miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and 70 miles north of Atlanta, Georgia. From I-75, take exit #320 (Lafayette, Georgia Hwy. 136), go east approximately 3/10 mile to US Hwy. 41. Turn left, go north approximately 3 miles, then turn right onto Chitwood Road (the area is well marked with event signs).       June 13-15  Liberty Gap   The event will be held on the former sight of an original redoubt which protected the Nashville & Chattanooga Railroad and within view of Fort Watrace, an existing, original earthwork fort which is still in excellent condition. The event sight has over 100 acres of beautiful rolling pasture land located on Hwy. 269 between Bell Buckle and Wartrace Tennessee.       September 5-7  Battle of Tunnel Hill Tunnel Hill, GA   The battle site is located approximately 20 miles south of Chattanooga, 5 miles off I-75 at Exit 336 (Old # 137).       19-21  Chicamauga Chicamauga, GA       October 10-12  Buckhorn Tavern Skirmish New Market, AL   The event will be at Sharon Johnson Park near Huntsville, AL.       © 2002-2006 www.1stalabamacavalryusv.com
